The Cobalt Sedan/Coupe 2.2L, 16 v Ecotec engine with dual overhead cams, delivers 148 horsepower. Also available, in the Sport Coupe/ Sedan only, is a 2.4L DOHC Ecotec High output 4 cylinder engine, with 171 horsepower.
